Position Summary

As an Experienced Caregiver (Home Care Aide), you will provide compassionate, high-quality, non-medical care that enables clients to safely remain in the comfort of their own homes. You will assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Successful candidates demonstrate professionalism, reliability, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement to support clients' emotional and social well-being.
• Assist with medication reminders in accordance with the client's care plan.
• Observe, document, and promptly report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
• Accurately complete required documentation using the company's electronic care management system.
• Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity, privacy, and independence.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, California Home Care Services Bureau regulations, HIPAA requirements, and applicable safety standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare setting.
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration, or the ability to obtain registration before employment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of care.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations, when required.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with experience caring for clients with:

• Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia
• Parkinson's disease
• Hospice or palliative care
• Stroke recovery
• Fall prevention and mobility assistance

The following certifications are highly desirable:

• Current CPR Certification
• Current TB Clearance
• Certified Home Care Aide (HCA)

Additional language skills, including Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Spanish, or other languages, are a plus.

Schedule

• Part-Time
• Flexible scheduling based on availability
• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
• Shift lengths vary based on client assignments
