Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team of caregivers to deliver tailored services that enhance the quality of life for our clients. Whether you're assisting with daily activities or providing companionship, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide daily personal care, including assistance with hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
2. Prepare meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
3. Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed routines.
4. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their socialization.
5. Document and communicate changes in clients’ conditions or needs to the care manager.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
2. Experience in caregiving or personal support services is preferred.
3. Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with clients and team members.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to meet client needs.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a certification in CPR or First Aid.
2. Possess specialized training in elder care or support for individuals with disabilities.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position that may include weekends.

We serve New Braunfels, Northern San Antonio and surrounding communities.
