Role Overview:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Visiting Angels of WNC, you will provide compassionate and professional in-home care to seniors in Asheville and the surrounding counties/area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care while enjoying the flexibility to choose your own hours. Whether you work part-time or full-time, you’ll have the freedom to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
3. Support clients with mobility and walking assistance as needed.
4. Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
5. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to meet clients’ needs.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
2. Strong communication skills and professionalism.
3. Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
5. Experience in elderly care or home healthcare is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Speak a second language.
2. Have experience with specialized care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time or Part-Time, available Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Asheville, North Carolina or one of the surrounding counties/areas.
