Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the caregiving team to ensure each client's specific needs are met and preferences honored. Whether you work part-time on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Assist clients with meal preparation and dietary needs.
3. Offer companionship and social interaction to enhance clients' quality of life.
4. Support clients with medication reminders and daily living activities.
5. Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure personalized care plans are successfully implemented and adjusted as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or a related field.
2. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
3. Compassionate and caring nature with a commitment to client wellbeing.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to changing client needs.

Bonus If You:

1. Possess CPR and First Aid certification.
2. Have training in specialized care for the elderly or disabled.
3. Are fluent in additional languages, enhancing communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability from Monday to Sunday.
