Immediate Caregiver (Home Care Aide)

Role Overview:

As an Caregiver/Home Care Aide at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, non-medical care to seniors while supporting our caregiving team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our clients and colleagues to ensure continuity of care and client satisfaction. Whether you are providing hands-on assistance or overseeing caregiver performance, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide non-medical personal care and companionship services to senior clients as needed.
2. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility support, and fall prevention.
3. Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
4. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
5. Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the caregiving team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate approach to caregiver responsibilities.
2. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
3. Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Reliability and a commitment to providing quality care.

Bonus If You:

1. Have additional certifications in caregiving or first aid.
2. Have experience working with seniors with dementia and/or mobility issues

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time or Part Time with a variety of shifts available.

Location:

This position is on-site only and based in Lansdale, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.
