Live In Caregiver

About Us:

Homewatch CareGivers of Elmhurst is focused on building relationships with their clientele and families. Each client's care plan is customized, allowing the flexibility to match the care provided to the exact needs of each client, whether the client needs companion care or complex personal care.

Role Overview:

As a Live In Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Elmhurst, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, reliable, and professional care to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that clients receive the highest quality of service that fits their unique needs. You will work on-site to provide support and assistance, ensuring dignity, independence, and safety for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
2. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental well-being.
3. Maintain a clean and safe environment in the client's home.
4. Document and report changes in client conditions to the care team.
5. Collaborate with our care team to ensure individualized care plans are successfully implemented. Take ownership of client care and help drive positive outcomes.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Prior experience in caregiving or healthcare fields.
2. Strong communication skills, particularly in English.
3. Empathy and compassion towards clients.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Bonus If You:

1. Possess additional training in specialized care techniques.
2. Have Alzheimer's and dementia certifications

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time or Part time, Monday through Friday and the weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Lombard, Illinois.
