At FirstLight Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra support with their activities of daily living. We are committed to helping them maintain their independence and have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years.

Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure each client receives the compassionate assistance they need. You’ll have the flexibility to work full-time or part-time, with schedules that may include day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts based on client needs and caregiver availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation to enhance their well-being.
2. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and assist with nutrition.
4. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
5. Provide medication reminders based on care plans.
6. Assist clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
7. Provide transportation for errands and appointments, ensuring client safety.
8. Support clients with daily activities to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications:

3. Ability to work independently in a client’s home setting.
4. Reliable transportation to travel between client homes.
5. Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.
6. Have experience in a caregiving role.
7. Possess first aid or CPR certifications.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities, with flexible scheduling available from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Nahunta, Georgia.
