In-Home Caregiver

Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for their loved ones. Whether you work part-time during the day, evening, overnight, or weekends, you'll have the flexibility to tailor your schedule based on client needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
2. Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping duties.
4. Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility and transfers.
5. Provide transportation and accompany clients on errands.
6. Help clients with daily activities to enhance their quality of life.

2. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families.
3. The ability to work independently in a client’s home.
4. Reliable transportation to travel between clients' homes.
5. The ability to meet applicable background check requirements.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position that may include various shifts, including days, evenings, overnight, and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only and is located at clients' home through the Treasure Valley in Idaho.
