CNA- In Home Care

About Us:

BrightStar Care is a home health company that promotes well-being in the home. We can provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs or RNs that provide in-home care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care, and everything in between. The length of the shifts can be as short as two hours or as long as twelve hours.

Role Overview:

As a CNA- In Home Care at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for delivering essential in-home care services that enhance our clients' well-being and quality of life. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team of caregivers to provide compassionate support tailored to each client's unique needs. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of varied shift lengths.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
2. Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
3. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
4. Follow personalized care plans developed by Registered Nurses to meet specific client needs.
5. Communicate effectively with team members and report any significant changes in clients' conditions to the supervising nurse.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish a rapport with clients and their families.
3. Ability to follow care plans and provide personal care services effectively.
4. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to serve others in need.

Bonus If You:

1. Have prior experience providing in-home care or assistance to individuals with special needs.
2. Are CPR certified or possess first aid training.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as either Full-Time or Part-Time, with shifts available every day of the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only, in Tinley Park, Illinois and surrounding suburbs.
