FirstLight Home Care is actively seeking Bilingual & Culturally Attuned Certified Home Health Aides (HHA) to help Asian-American families (Korean, Mandarin/Cantonese, Tagalog, Japanese, etc.) throughout Fort Lee, Cliffside Park, Englewood, and across Bergen and Passaic counties.

YOUR ROLE & DAILY IMPACT:

• Deliver dignified, attentive 1-on-1 personal care and companionship in upscale private homes.
• Assist with routine self-care: bathing, dressing, personal grooming, and safe mobility transfers.
• Prepare culturally preferred home-cooked meals and assist with light household maintenance.
• Provide clear, comforting daily communication in the client’s preferred language.
• Maintain strict safety oversight, steady companionship, and accurate medication reminders.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

• Active New Jersey Home Health Aide (NJ-HHA) Certification (Mandatory).
• Fluency or strong proficiency in Asian languages (Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Japanese, or others) is highly desired!
• Up-to-Date Medical Clearances: Physical Exam & TB/PPD clearance within the last 12 months.
• Documented MMR immunization status.
• Reliable transportation or easy commute access to cases across Bergen and Passaic counties.
