Caregiver / CNA

About Us:

BrightStar Care is a home health company that promotes well-being in the home. We can provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, or RNs that offer in-home care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care, and everything in between. The length of the shifts can be as short as two hours or as long as twelve hours.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver/CNA at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and dedicated in-home health care services to our clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our nursing staff to ensure each client receives personalized care that meets their needs. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to create a fulfilling schedule while making a positive difference in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including toileting, grooming, and dressing.
2. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients through light housekeeping tasks.
3. Foster companionship by engaging clients in conversation and meaningful activities.
4. Assist clients with mobility and transportation as needed.
5. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement each client’s personalized Plan of Care and address any specific care needs.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Valid CNA or caregiver certification in Illinois.
2. Experience in providing personal care or health care services.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients.
4. Compassionate and empathetic nature, dedicated to improving the well-being of clients.

Bonus If You:

1. Have additional certifications in specialized care (e.g., dementia care).
2. Possess experience in a home health care setting.
3. Are multilingual, particularly in Spanish or other languages.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position can be either Full-Time or Part-Time with availability on weekdays and weekends.

Location:

This position is located in Tinley Park, Illinois, and the surrounding suburbs.
