Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18–$22 per hour

Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week

Work Location: In person, with local travel

About the Position

Are you an experienced caregiver who enjoys organizing, helping others and meeting new people?

Homewatch CareGivers of Havertown is hiring a Part-Time Office & Caregiver Support Coordinator to assist with caregiver interviews, orientation, scheduling, client intake and community outreach.

This hands-on role combines office work, outreach and occasional backup caregiving. You will work closely with the Owner/Executive Director and our Virtual Assistant.

Responsibilities

Office and caregiver support:

  • Conduct in-person caregiver interviews using our established process
  • Assist with orientation, onboarding, employment documentation and I-9 verification
  • Assist with caregiver competency and skills demonstrations
  • During assigned hours, respond to call-outs, contact available caregivers and confirm replacement coverage
  • Communicate schedule changes to clients and caregivers
  • Update schedules and caregiver information in KanTime
  • Receive client inquiries, gather intake information and schedule consultations
  • Maintain organized records and a professional office

Community outreach:

  • Spend approximately 4–5 hours weekly visiting community organizations and potential referral partners
  • Accompany the owner on visits initially, then conduct selected visits independently after training
  • Introduce our services to senior living communities, senior centers, healthcare offices and other local organizations
  • Assist with open houses and networking events
  • Distribute company materials and follow up with contacts
  • Document outreach activities and next steps in WelcomeHome CRM

Occasional backup caregiving:

  • Provide non-medical care when client coverage is needed
  • Duties may include bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders and light housekeeping, according to the client’s Plan of Care

Qualifications

  • At least one year of hands-on caregiving experience
  • Comfortable providing personal care
  • Strong communication, organization and follow-through
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with community professionals
  • Able to handle routine staffing problems calmly and work toward solutions independently
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn scheduling and CRM systems
  • Reliable transportation and an insured vehicle for local travel
  • Ability to meet agency screening, health and competency requirements

Preferred: CNA, HHA, MA, nursing/healthcare student, or experienced caregiver interested in office operations and leadership. Customer service or community outreach experience is a plus.

Schedule and Pay

10–15 total scheduled hours per week, generally including:

  • Approximately eight hours of interviews, orientation and office support, organized into concentrated work blocks
  • Approximately 4–5 hours of community outreach, including local travel, documentation and follow-up

The allocation may vary with agency needs. Outreach is included within the weekly hours.

Occasional backup client care may require additional paid hours outside the regular schedule. Any duties outside scheduled hours will be arranged with the owner; continuous on-call availability is not required.

Starting pay: $18–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Training and outreach materials are provided, with opportunities for the role to grow as the agency expands.
