Caregiver (Flexible Hours)

Assisting Hands- Rosenberg is looking for caregivers available for PRN shifts (as needed). Life is unpredictable, and we can't expect our caregivers to always be able to work, and that is where you come in!

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver (Flexible Hours) at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the care team to ensure our clients receive the assistance they need to maintain their dignity and independence. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide in-home support services to clients according to their specific needs and preferences.
2. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and companionship.
3. Maintain a respectful and compassionate relationship with clients to foster a supportive environment.
4. Document and report any changes in clients' health or behaviors to the appropriate team members.
5. Respond effectively to emergencies and client needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients and their families.
2. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
3. Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.
4. Experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
5. Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

Bonus If You:

1. Have previous experience in senior care or home health.
2. Possess any healthcare certifications (CNA, HHA, etc.).
3. Are fluent in additional languages, enhancing communication with our diverse client base.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position available for PRN shifts throughout the week, including weekends.

Location:

This position is NOT remote.
