Role Overview:

As a Dedicated Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that each client feels valued and receives the utmost care and attention. This is located in Lexington, Kentucky, and surrounding areas, where you’ll have the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide daily living assistance to clients, helping with personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation.
2. Monitor client health and well-being, reporting any changes to the care team.
3. Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities, promoting socialization and emotional support.
4. Assist with light housekeeping and errands as needed to maintain a comfortable living environment.
5. Collaborate with the care team to ensure personalized care plans are being followed and adjusted as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
2. Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and the care team.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
5. Flexible and dependable, with a willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
2. Experience with assisting with personal hygiene, bathing and incontinence care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities, with availability on weekdays and weekends. We are needing dedicated individuals that willing to work 12 hour shifts 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am with availability on weekends and weekdays.

Location:

This position is in the homes of clients that live in Lexington and Georgetown areas.
