Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / CNA at Homewatch CareGivers of Sparks–North Reno, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure they remain safe and independent at home. You’ll have the flexibility of a schedule that accommodates your availability while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and meaningful conversation to clients.
2. Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
3. Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks.
4. Provide medication reminders and assist with daily living activities.
5. Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers to ensure client safety.
6. Provide transportation to appointments and run errands as needed.
7. Offer respite and support for family caregivers, enhancing overall care quality.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience as a caregiver or CNA, with a passion for helping others.
2. Strong communication skills, particularly in English.
3. Ability to provide compassionate, reliable, and dignified care.
4. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
5. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional growth.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience with dementia support or mobility assistance.
2. Possess additional healthcare certifications beyond CNA.
3. Are familiar with meal preparation tailored to dietary needs.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time or Part-Time, with availability spanning Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only at Homewatch CareGivers of Sparks–North Reno, located in Sparks, Nevada.
