PRN On-Call CNA – TCU Student Client

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support a college student living on campus at Texas Christian University (TCU).

This is an on-call PRN opportunity supporting a student with a history of seizures. Seizures may occur approximately once a month, and when one occurs, the CNA will be needed to stay with the client for approximately 10–12 hours afterward to provide supervision, reassurance, and support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active CNA certification required
• Previous patient-care or caregiving experience required
• Experience caring for individuals with epilepsy or seizure disorders strongly preferred
• Nursing students are encouraged to apply! Students currently enrolled in an LVN or RN nursing program with relevant patient-care experience are welcome to be considered.
• Calm, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable responding appropriately following a seizure
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in a college campus/sorority-house environment
• Must be available to respond on an on-call basis when needed

About the Position:

• Location: TCU / Fort Worth, TX
• Position: PRN / On-Call CNA
• Approximately 10–12 hours per occurrence
• Expected frequency is approximately once per month, although this may vary
• Client lives on campus at a sorority house
• Flexible opportunity that may work especially well for a CNA who is also attending school

We are especially interested in candidates who have experience with epilepsy or seizure disorders. While we are starting with CNA candidates, nursing students are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those currently enrolled in an LVN or RN program who are looking for flexible healthcare experience that can work around their school schedule.
