Position Summary

Homewatch CareGivers is seeking a compassionate, dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide high-quality, in-home care to clients. This role focuses on delivering personalized support, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.

Experience providing care for children of all ages—including infants, toddlers, and school-age children—is preferred. Candidates with experience working with children with special needs are highly encouraged to apply.

Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish preferred) are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Pay: $15 – $18 per hour

Required Qualifications

• Active HHA, CNA, or equivalent caregiving experience
• Prior home care, childcare, or healthcare experience preferred
• Experience caring for children (infants, toddlers, and school-age) preferred
• Experience working with special needs children preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism with clients and families
• Basic knowledge of infection-control practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge required

Responsibilities

Client Care Duties:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and medication reminders
• Provide attentive and age-appropriate care for children when applicable
• Support children’s daily routines, including feeding, hygiene, and supervision
• Monitor and document basic observations and changes in client condition
• Maintain a safe and clean environment following health and safety standards
