Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands North Austin, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to cater your work schedule to best suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct assistance with daily living activities, such as grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
2. Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their social well-being.
3. Support clients in maintaining their home environment, ensuring safety and comfort.
4. Document and report any changes in client condition or concerns to supervisors.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify care plans tailored to individual client needs.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in a caregiving role or similar position is a plus.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families.
3. Compassionate and patient attitude towards providing care.
4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
5. Reliable and punctual with a commitment to quality service.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR and First Aid.
2. Are bilingual, especially in Spanish.
3. Have training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call shifts, with availability spanning from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only and based in Georgetown, Texas.
