Role Overview:

As an Overnight Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, non-medical support to our clients during nighttime hours. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with other caregivers and administrative staff to ensure our seniors receive the highest level of care and companionship. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance to clients, including help with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Assist clients with meal preparation and medication reminders.
3. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
4. Engage with clients to provide companionship and emotional support throughout the night.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
2. Empathy and compassion for the elderly and disabled individuals.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Reliability and accountability in maintaining a consistent schedule.
5. Prior experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR and First Aid.
2. Possess additional training in personal care or elder care.
3. Are proficient in other languages which can enhance communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability needed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site in Sewanee, TN, and applicants must reside in Tennessee.
