Role Overview:

As a Part-Time Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients to ensure they maintain their independence and quality of life. You will have the flexibility to work with clients based on their needs, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients.
2. Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and support clients with dietary needs.
4. Carry out light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment.
5. Remind clients about medications and assist with their administration.
6. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety.
7. Transport clients to appointments and run errands as needed.
8. Help clients with various daily activities to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications:

1. Compassionate and dependable demeanor.
2. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
3. Ability to work independently in a client's home.
4. Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
5. Willingness to meet applicable background check requirements.
6. Have previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
7. Hold certifications relevant to caregiving, such as CPR or first aid.

Bonus If You:

1. Are fluent in languages other than English.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Part-Time and includes flexible scheduling based on client needs. You will have the opportunity to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight.

Location:

This position is on-site only, and we are looking for candidates in Townsend, Georgia.
