Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Bethlehem, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and comfort of each client, while assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' emotional and social well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure all care needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
2. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
3. Reliable and punctual.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Have training in memory care or related certifications.
2. Are bilingual, which can enhance communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexibility to work Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Northampton, Pennsylvania.
