Role Overview:

You will be responsible for providing personal care and enriching our clients' life. Through patience and desire to help others, you will be able to give a meaningful and customized care. You show up everyday and give it your best with a positive attitude and keeping our clients' best interest in mind. This job requires transfers from and to wheelchair without a gait belt to maximize independence. Communication, transparency and attention to detail is a priority for the well-being of the client. Meals included.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be great with communication regarding the client needs and report any changes.
2. Available for 12 hour shifts (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am) Flexibility possible.
3. Perform transfers without gait belt. Client is able to help.
4. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
5. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
6. Support clients with mobility assistance and light exercise.
7. Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure the well-being and comfort of clients.
8. Be able to drive client's vehicle.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Open to feedback and a team player.
2. Patience, coachable, punctuality, and great communication.
3. Ability to transfer clients or be willing to learn how to perform safe transfers.
4. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
5. Experience in providing personal care and support to individuals.
6. Great attention to detail and organized. Being able to follow a routine.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time or Part-time. 24 hours per week, every week. 12 hour shifts (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am) from Saturday to Sunday. More hours available if you do a great job.

Pay:

Starts at $20 per hour and can get to $22 per hour within 3 months. It all depends on performance.
