Role Overview:

As a Caregiver (Flexible Hours) at FirstLight Home Care of Bethlehem, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and comfort of each client while assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that works for you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' emotional and social well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Document and report any changes in clients’ health or circumstances to the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
2. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
3. Ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
4. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
5. Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required.

Bonus If You:

1. Have training or certification in home health care or a related field.
2. Are familiar with memory care techniques.
3. Possess first aid and CPR certifications

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Per Diem with flexible hours, Monday through Sunday. Days and Evenings.

Location:

This position is on-site only and open to candidates in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas.
