Role Overview:

This isn't a bedside nursing role — it's a strategic compliance and quality position. As RN Supervisor, you'll be the clinical authority behind our agency, making sure everything we do meets North Carolina's non-medical home care regulations. You'll advise leadership on what we can and cannot do, review plans of care and nurse assessments for accuracy, and guide caregiver training and orientation. If you want to use your clinical expertise to shape how an agency operates — rather than spend your days on hands-on care — this is built for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the agency's go-to advisor on North Carolina non-medical home care regulations, answering compliance questions from management and the administrative team
• Review and sign off on client plans of care and nurse assessments for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Oversee caregiver orientation and training to ensure agency and state standards are met
• Ensure caregivers complete required state checks (3-month and yearly skills evaluations)
• Direct PRN RNs conducting client assessments as needed
• Supervise caregivers on personal care standards, stepping in only when clinical judgment is needed

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in North Carolina
• Experience in home care, community health, or regulatory/compliance work
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Comfortable advising management and interpreting regulation, not just administering care
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to quality

Bonus If You:

• Have home care experience
• Hold geriatric care certification
• Are bilingual, especially in Spanish

Employment Type & Availability:

20 hours/week, hybrid — primarily desk-based compliance and review work, with occasional field time for assessments and orientations.
