Role Overview:

As a Home Health Aide at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate support to clients in the Glen Rock, NJ area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure that each client receives the personalized care they need. Whether you work on-site in a residential setting, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of your clients, helping them enjoy quality moments in comfort and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
3. Help clients with transportation and errands as needed.
4. Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team to ensure the highest standard of care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
2. Compassionate and dependable demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
3. Strong communication skills in English.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Flexibility to take on various shifts and assignments as needed.

Bonus If You:

1. Have prior experience as a home health aide or in a similar caregiving role.
2. Are familiar with dementia care and have experience supporting individuals with Alzheimer's.
3. Possess additional certifications in caregiving or healthcare.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, available Monday through Friday.

Location:

This position is on-site only and located in Glen Rock, New Jersey.
