Job Overview:

Homewatch CareGivers of St. Pete Beach is currently hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for daytime, in-home care. If you're a CNA looking to make a meaningful impact by supporting clients in their own homes during the day, we want to hear from you. You'll work one-on-one with clients, providing hands-on assistance, comfort, and support throughout their day.

This role is perfect for experienced CNAs who value consistency, compassion, and personalized care—and prefer the engaging, supportive environment of daytime work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with morning and daytime routines, including toileting, hygiene, and mobility support
• Support with meal preparation, errands, or light housekeeping
• Observe and monitor client safety, behavior, and overall well-being throughout the day
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and comfort
• Maintain detailed documentation and promptly report any changes in condition to the care team
• Support a clean, safe, and positive environment to promote independence and well-being

Required Qualifications:

• Active Florida CNA license
• CPR/BLS certification (current)
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background check
• At least 21 years of age
• Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Experience:

• Previous home care or daytime caregiving experience
• Familiarity with mobility equipment and safe transfer techniques
• Compassionate approach and patience when working with older adults

Shift Information:

• Schedule: Daytime shifts (typically between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; exact times and shift lengths vary)
• Availability: Weekday and weekend availability preferred
• Employment Type: Part-time or Full-time depending on client needs
• Location: St. Pete Beach, FL (in-home care only)
• Service Area: We serve a wide area including St. Pete Beach, Gulfport, Tierra Verde, Seminole, Largo, and Pinellas Park
