Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care of Fort Mill, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, personalized assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure our clients maintain their independence and quality of life. You will work on-site in the Rock Hill area of South Carolina, offering flexible support based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
2. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs.
3. Provide medication reminders to ensure client adherence to prescribed routines.
4. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
5. Engage clients in companionship and social activities to promote emotional well-being.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor suited for working with seniors and individuals with disabilities.
2. Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English.
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate trustworthiness.
4. Flexible schedule to accommodate clients' needs, including weekends.
5. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus but not required.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications related to caregiving or healthcare (CNA, HHA, etc.).
2. Are trained in first aid and CPR.
3. Possess knowledge of special needs care and support techniques.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
