Role Overview:

As a Wound Care Nurse at BrightStar Care of Plano/N. Dallas, you will be responsible for providing high-quality wound care and skilled nursing visits to patients in the Fort Worth area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and integrate passion with clinical excellence, elevating the care experience for our patients and their families. Your commitment to compassionate care will be supported by flexible scheduling to accommodate your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct skilled nursing visits to assess and document patient needs.
2. Administer medications as prescribed and provide wound care treatments.
3. Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management.
4. Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient support.
5. Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in patient condition.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Current Texas RN license.
2. Current CPR certification.
3. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
4. A passion for providing high-quality patient care.
5. Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Bonus If You:

1. Have previous experience in wound care or home health.
2. Possess additional certifications in wound management.

This position is on-site only, located in Burleson, Texas.
