Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Los Altos, you will be responsible for providing exceptional, personalized care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to improve the lives of others by offering direct care and support. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
2. Promote safety and comfort for clients, ensuring they feel valued at all times.
3. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
4. Communicate effectively with clients and families to address their needs and updates.
5. Participate in continuous training and development to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate attitude and the ability to connect with clients on a personal level.
2. Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with clients and their families.
3. Flexibility to work various hours including weekends as needed.
4. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
5. Willingness to undergo background checks and adhere to safety regulations.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR or First Aid.
2. Are bilingual and can communicate in languages other than English.
3. Possess additional training in specialized caregiving techniques.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities that may include work on Saturdays.

Location:

This position is on-site only and is located in Palo Alto, California.
