Role Overview:
As a Caregiver (Flexible Hours) at FirstLight Home Care, you will have the rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of others. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients to provide personalized support and assistance, making their everyday activities easier and more enjoyable. Whether you’re working full-time, part-time, or temporarily, you’ll gain flexible hours that suit your lifestyle while making a real difference in your community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and engaging conversation to clients.
- Prepare and serve meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Help with shopping, errands, and transportation to appointments.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication skills, including fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience in caregiving or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as Full Time, Part Time, or Temporary, with flexible hours throughout the week and weekend.
Location:
This position in the homes of individuals that live in Winchester, Lexington, Paris, Mt Sterling and other surrounding areas.
