In-Home Caregiver

Visiting Angels is a company that hires caregivers to help with the Aging population's Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, walking, etc. We can also assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and more. Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Visiting Angels of WNC, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to seniors in the Asheville and surrounding counties/areas. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a supportive team to ensure the highest quality of life for our clients. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of our clients.
3. Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping duties as necessary.
4. Follow individualized care plans created by our Registered Nurse.
5. Maintain reliable communication with clients and their families to ensure all needs are met.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. PCA or CNA certification (or relevant caregiving experience).
2. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
3. Ability to pass a background check with no charges beyond traffic violations.
4. Ability to pass a drug test, including THC.
5. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.

Bonus If You:

1. Speak additional languages, enhancing communication with clients.
2. Have prior experience working in home care or assisted living environments.
3. Demonstrate a passion for helping the elderly and enhancing their quality of life.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible scheduling options including weekdays and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only, serving clients in Asheville and the surrounding counties/areas in North Carolina.
