Caregiver | Full-Time, Part-Time & On-Call Shifts Available

About Us:

At FirstLight Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra assistance with their activities of daily living. We are there to help them maintain their independence so that they do not have to rely on their family members, friends, or neighbors to provide their care for them. The care we provide ranges from personal care to include assistance with bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene and eating assistance to companion care which includes conversation and company, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, etc. We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years now and are very passionate about serving our senior population.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure the comfort and well-being of their loved ones. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call shifts, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
2. Provide companionship and support through conversation and recreational activities.
3. Administer medication reminders according to client schedules.
4. Help clients with mobility and light housekeeping tasks.
5. Coordinate with families and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor in working with seniors and individuals with disabilities.
2. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
3. Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes as needed.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
5. Previous experience in a caregiving role is a plus, but not required – we welcome enthusiastic learners!

Bonus If You:

1. Have any certifications related to caregiving (CNA, HHA, etc.).
2. Are bilingual, bringing additional communication skills to the role.
3. Have experience in medication management.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Part-Time & On-Call Shifts Available, with availability from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only and located in Kingsland, St. Mary's, Woodbine, and Folkston Georgia.
