Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / HHA at Assisting Hands Home Care of Fort Mill, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, personalized assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure our clients maintain their independence and quality of life. Whether you work part-time or full-time, you’ll have the flexibility to adjust to the needs of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
  2. Provide meal preparation and medication reminders.
  3. Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a comfortable living environment.
  4. Offer companionship to clients to enhance their emotional well-being.
  5. Collaborate with family members and the Assisting Hands team to deliver coordinated care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications such as HHA or CNA are a plus.
  2. Experience in caregiving or a related field.
  3. Strong verbal communication skills in English.
  4. Compassionate nature and a strong desire to help others.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus If You:

  1. Have CPR and First Aid certification.
  2. Possess additional training in Alzheimer's or dementia care.
  3. Are familiar with electronic caregiving documentation.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with flexible hours available, including weekdays and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only, based in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
