At Assisting Hands Home Care, we understand that completing everyday tasks and living on your own can become challenging as you age. Our licensed and trained caregivers are available to help you overcome these obstacles and provide in-home care so you can maintain your independence. We provide personal care and companionship to adults with limitations and seniors who need home care, including those with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease. We offer a helping hand by providing hospice care, post-hospitalization care, live-in and 24/7 home care services.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands of Preston Hollow, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the care team to ensure our clients receive the support they need to maintain their independence. You’ll primarily work on-site in Bedford, Texas, providing essential daily assistance while fostering a warm and supportive environment for clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
3. Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the management team.
4. Assist with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
5. Engage in activities that stimulate clients’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field.
2. Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
3. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
4. Compassionate and patient demeanor when assisting clients.
5. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, such as lifting and mobility assistance.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or Parkinson’s disease.
2. Speak any additional languages besides English.
3. Have specialized training or certifications in senior care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Bedford, Texas.
