Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Bethlehem, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and comfort of each client, while assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence. Whether you work Full Time or Part Time, you'll have the flexibility to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' emotional and social well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor towards clients.
2. Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
5. Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR or first aid.
2. Are familiar with dementia care practices.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Per Diem, with availability needed Monday through Sunday. Flexible hours and weekly pay.
