Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing essential support and companionship to our clients in the Williamsburg, Kentucky area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our skilled team to enhance the quality of life for those in our care. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to create meaningful experiences for our clients every day.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing companionship and engaging conversation with clients to uplift their spirits.
2. Preparing and serving nutritious meals based on clients' preferences and dietary needs.
3. Assisting clients with daily living activities, including bathing and grooming.
4. Performing light housekeeping duties and laundry to maintain a clean and pleasant environment.
5. Managing shopping, errands, and transportation for clients as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassion and sensitivity toward the needs of others.
2. Strong integrity and reliability in performing care responsibilities.
3. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on English.
4. A proactive approach to problem-solving and client care.
5. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is advantageous.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in first aid and CPR.
2. Possess additional language skills to broaden client communication.
3. Have specialized training in senior care or disability support.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Full Time, Part Time, or Temporary and may include availability on Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located at FirstLight Home Care in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
