HHA - Part-Time

Homewatch CareGivers of South Orange seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to work with a client in Maplewood.

Schedule: Mondays and Saturdays, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a meaningful relationship with your client and provide companionship and support
• Accompany client on daily outings, exercise, shopping, appointments, etc.
• Support client with personal care needs / ADL's
• Household tasks including light housekeeping, grocery management, and meal preparation
• Must have a reliable and fully insured vehicle (Valid Drivers License, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance required)
• Must be willing and able to drive client using employee's personal vehicle

Candidate Requirements:

• MUST have an active New Jersey HHA Certification
• Two (2) valid forms of ID
• PPD (within 12 months), QuantiFERON Gold (within 12 months), or Chest X-ray
• MUST be able to pass a criminal background check
• Valid Drivers License, a reliable vehicle, proof of registration & auto insurance
• Must be reliable, compassionate, flexible, and a team player
• 1+ year of prior experience as a Home Health Aide preferred, but not required
