Role Overview:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care to clients in their homes, ensuring they maintain their independence and quality of life. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to provide essential support, including companionship and personal care. Whether you work day, evening, overnight, or weekend shifts, you’ll have the flexibility to accommodate client needs while making a meaningful difference in your community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with companionship and conversation to foster a supportive environment.
2. Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
4. Remind clients to take medication as prescribed and assist with mobility and transfers.
5. Transport clients for errands and appointments while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and dependable nature with a strong desire to help others.
2. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients.
3. Able to work independently and provide care in a client’s home.
4. Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
5. Ability to meet applicable background check and training requirements.

Bonus If You:

1. Have previous experience in home care or related fields.
2. Possess certifications related to home health or caregiving.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is part-time and offers flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability. You may take shifts from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in White Oak, Georgia.
