Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care tailored to each client’s needs
• Assist with activities of daily living, including:
  • Meal preparation and feeding
  • Light housekeeping and linen changes
  • Transportation to appointments and errands
  • Outdoor activities and shopping
• Assist with client mobility, including active and passive exercises, according to the care plan
• Provide total care and safe transfers as needed
• Properly operate and utilize a Hoyer lift
• Observe and report changes in condition to the Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Must be CNA certified
• Hoyer lift experience is required
• Experience providing total care is required
• 2–3 years of relevant experience required
• Must provide a resume with relevant experience
• Must be reliable, a team player, and committed to providing quality care
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test (skin test or chest X-ray)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and transferring clients
