About Us:

BrightStar Care is a home care company that promotes well-being in the home. We provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, or RNs that offer in-home care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care and everything in between. BrightStar Care of Tinley Park is owned by husband-and-wife nurses who do the same work that we ask our employees to do. The length of the shifts can be as short as two hours or as long as twelve hours.

Role Overview:

As a Director Of Nursing at BrightStar Care, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing services and ensure compliance with the personalized Plans of Care for our clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team of caregivers and nursing staff to maintain the highest standards of care and enhance the well-being of those we serve. You will work on-site in Tinley Park, Illinois, leading your team with passion and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the nursing staff to deliver quality care to clients in their homes.
2. Develop and implement individualized Plans of Care in collaboration with clients and their families.
3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of client care needs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
4. Provide guidance, training, and support to nursing staff and caregivers to uphold best practices in patient care.
5. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain company standards for care delivery.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state of Illinois.
2. Previous experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in home health care.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
5. Commitment to delivering compassionate patient-centered care.

Bonus If You:

1. Geriatric nursing experience or experience with specialized care.
2. Previous experience in a home health care setting.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Location:

This position is on-site in Tinley Park, Illinois.
