Next.js Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Next.js developer to enhance our project team at Nine Design. This role involves comprehensive backend-to-frontend development to create high-performance, scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop new user-facing features using Next.js.
2. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
3. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
4. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
5. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
6. Implement SEO principles and ensure application adherence to these principles.
7. Work with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
8. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
9. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and push the team towards modern development practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
2. Thorough understanding of Next.js and its core principles.
3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
4. Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
5. Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN).
6. A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
7. Working experience with state mangement tools
8. Experience with React.js

Desirable Skills:

1. Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
