Role Overview

As an On-Call Caregiver / Office Assistant, you will support both our clients and our care team through a mix of hands-on caregiving and office support. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate in-home care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
  • Monitor and document client well-being and report changes to the care team
  • Communicate, coordinate and schedule with family members and healthcare professionals
  • Assist with scheduling, preparing, and co-facilitating aspects of new employee orientation and onboarding.
  • Support office staff with data entry, filing, and maintaining client and caregiver records in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Answer phones and respond to inquiries from clients and families, providing information as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment while following care plans and protocols

Qualifications

  • Experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality

Bonus Qualifications

  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
