Caregiver (Flexible Hours)

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Elmhurst, you will be responsible for providing superior quality home care services to our clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our support team to preserve the dignity, independence, and safety of our clients. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll have flexible hours allowing you to cater to your personal schedule while making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver compassionate care to clients in a range of settings, fulfilling their unique care plans.
2. Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
3. Maintain open communication with clients’ families, providing updates on care and well-being.
4. Document care activities and any changes in clients’ conditions accurately.
5. Collaborate with the care team to ensure the highest standards of care are met and maintained.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to follow care plans and instructions effectively.
4. Dependability and a compassionate demeanor.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends as needed.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in Dementia and Alzheimer's
2. Are fluent in languages other than English.
3. Have experience with senior care or special needs clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible hours across weekdays and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located near Elmhurst, Illinois. Our territory includes Oakbrook Terrace, Elmhurst, lombard, Villa Park, Addison, Bensenville, and Itasca. We also staff some areas like Des Plaines down to Elmwood Park.
