Role Overview:

As a Skilled Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Bethlehem, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and comfort of each client, while assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to make a significant impact in the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' emotional and social well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Document and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Compassionate nature and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
4. Previous caregiving experience is a plus.
5. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.

Bonus If You:

1. Have training in dementia care or related fields.
2. Speak languages other than English.
3. Have flexible availability during weekends.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability required on weekdays and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site in the Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem Area.
