Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to our clients, ensuring they enjoy their best day, every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver the support needed for their activities of daily living. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to choose your hours and positively impact the lives of seniors in your community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating assistance.
2. Provide companion care, including conversation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
3. Support clients with transportation needs for appointments and errands.
4. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
5. Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Excellent communication skills, especially in English.
4. Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is a plus.
5. Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

1. Have relevant certifications in home care or healthcare.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time shifts, with flexible hours throughout the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only and located in St. Marys, Georgia.
