Part Time Sales Associate

Kid to Kid Sales Associates create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping and selling experience for all customers. Sales Associates support daily store operations, provide excellent customer service, restock inventory, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers immediately and communicate sales, promotions, and new merchandise
• Offer assistance proactively and answer customer questions
• Engage in conversation and anticipate customer needs
• Answer the phone using approved scripting
• Communicate store sales, promotions, and loyalty programs

Sales & Cash Handling

• Accurately process sales transactions using the POS system
• Explain return policies and loyalty programs during checkout
• Handle cash and other payment methods accurately
• (If Senior Associate) Balance cash drawers during opening/closing

Store Operations

• Maintain a clean and organized store
• Merchandise clothing racks, floor displays, and counters
• Assist with restocking and inventory management
• Participate in opening and closing procedures
• Review communication logs and follow all company policies

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-service experience preferred, not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
• Basic math skills and comfort with cash/credit transactions
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual
• Team-oriented and customer-focused

Physical Requirements

• Lift boxes, bins, displays, and merchandise up to 20 lbs overhead
• Bend, reach, stoop, and kneel while merchandising and assisting customers
• Manual dexterity for tagging, hanging clothes, and POS operation
• Requirements may change based on business needs
