Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining their dignity and independence. You will work on-site in Bulverde, Texas, and have the flexibility to manage your schedule across various weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients, aiding in daily activities and personal hygiene.
2. Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and other necessary tasks as per care plans.
3. Engage in uplifting companionship activities to enhance clients’ overall well-being.
4. Maintain detailed and accurate records of the care provided and any changes in clients’ conditions.
5. Collaborate with the care team to develop and adjust individual care plans as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or a related field, demonstrating compassion and patience.
2. Strong communication skills, with a focus on building meaningful relationships with clients.
3. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
4. Basic understanding of health and safety protocols in a caregiving context.
5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR and First Aid.
2. Hold a certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
3. Possess experience in specialized care such as dementia or other disabilities.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability required from Monday through Sunday.
