Role Overview:

As a Deckhand at Precon Marine Inc, you will be responsible for supporting marine operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of maritime activities. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the marine crew to support various projects and operations related to marine construction and maintenance. This is a Full-Time position with an on-site work requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support marine operations by assisting the crew with various tasks related to heavy marine construction and waterfront construction.
2. Maintain and ensure the functionality of equipment and tools required for maritime activities.
3. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
4. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and supplies, as well as general labor as needed on various marine projects.
5. Collaborate with the marine crew to complete tasks efficiently, contributing to the overall success of marine construction projects.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Merchant Mariners Credentials
2. Experience working in a marine environment or related field.
3. Basic understanding of marine construction and heavy equipment.
4. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
5. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
6. Willingness to work as part of a dedicated marine crew.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Chesapeake, Virginia.
