Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure their comfort and well-being. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call shifts, you’ll have the flexibility to adjust your schedule according to client needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
2. Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and assist with basic cooking duties.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment.
5. Remind clients to take their medication as scheduled.
6. Assist with mobility and transfer assistance.
7. Provide transportation and run errands for clients.
8. Support clients with daily activities to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. A compassionate and dependable nature.
2. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
3. The ability to work independently in a client’s home.
4. Reliable transportation for travel to and from clients' homes.
5. The flexibility to adjust to varying client needs and schedules.
6. Have experience in providing care to seniors or individuals with disabilities.
7. Hold a certification such as CPR or First Aid.

Bonus If You:

1. Are bilingual, especially in languages other than English.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call shifts, with flexibility based on client needs.

Location:

This position is on-site in St. Marys, Georgia.
