Home Caregiver

Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands Greater Murray, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized in-home care to clients in Salt Lake County, Utah. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure their comfort and well-being while making a meaningful impact in your community. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling tailored to client needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients to build meaningful relationships.
2. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
4. Remind clients to take medication as scheduled.
5. Provide mobility and transfer assistance to promote safety.
6. Assist with transportation and errands as required.
7. Support clients in their daily activities while ensuring a comfortable home environment.

1. A compassionate and dependable nature, commitment to helping others.
2. Strong communication skills, both in English and Spanish.
3. The ability to work independently in a client’s home.
4. Reliable transportation to meet clients' needs.
5. A willingness to meet all applicable state and federal caregiving regulations.

Bonus If You:

1. Have previous caregiving experience or certification.
2. Possess additional languages, enhancing communication with diverse clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with flexible scheduling available to meet client needs, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Location:

This position is on-site only, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, serving clients in the Greater Murray area.
